Community Food Basket

Community Food Basket (aka Brown Bag) is a membership program sponsored by the Oregon Food Bank-Washington County Services. Any adult with an income less than or equal to 200% of the current poverty level is eligible to join. See the application for details. Members pay a $15 annual subscription fee to help maintain the program, and receive a bag of food monthly. HCFB meets on the third Friday of each month in the Fellowship Hall. Volunteers meet to manage the distribution of food delivered from the Food Bank. Deliveries are made to the homebound members. HCFB provides information of opportunities related to jobs, services and self-help information and programs. Each month there is a different food available for tasting.
