Family Bridge

Our church has been hosting Family Bridge homeless families since the program began to serve families in 1999. There are 8 local churches on rotation with HUMC so we host the families for a week about once every two months. This is a labor-intensive program requiring at least 28 volunteers each host week. The volunteers serve dinner or stay overnight at the church with the families. In addition, other volunteers provide milk and snack donations and pick up or deliver the bedding at the beginning and end of each host week.
