rning class looks at the needs of children and youth through the lens of th=
e Children’s Defense Fund, whose mission is to ensure every child a H=
ealthy Start; a Head Start; a Fair Start; a Safe Start; a Moral Start. Beginning=

The Ten Commandments: Laws of the Heart by Sister Jo=
an Chittister will be discussed by the Adult Sunday Morning class beginning=
October 28. The book deals not only with the original meaning of this anci=
ent set of laws governing conduct but also finds modern application in some=
very interesting ways. The class meets in the parlor at 9:00 each Sunday m=
orning. New members are always welcome. Books may be purchased locally or o=
rdered by calling the church office prior to September 15. The cost if orde=
red through the church will be $10.00. |
