Sunday Morning Worship
We worship on Sunday mornings at 10:00 – in the sanctuary and online via YouTube. It’s our chance to gather with one another, to praise God, to pray together, to enjoy music together, and hear God together. Worship is at the heart of HUMC.
Our worship is a ‘blended’ style – it combines traditional liturgy and informal response, hymns and more contemporary songs. Our worship draws on our rich tradition and embraces emerging practices. It reflects who we are a s a church – a diverse people from many generations, seeing to live and serve together.
Worship is open to everyone. The building is wheelchair accessible from the front entrance. We have large print bulletins, hymnals and bibles available. The first Sunday of each month is a bilingual Spanish/English service. Children are always welcome to remain in worship. Nursery care and children’s programs are available following story time in worship. Dress as you like, as casually or formal as you prefer.
