This is a generous church! Every time you are asked to meet a need in our congregation or our community, you step up. Whether financial support, your time and energy, or both, you always respond to the call. Together we make a tremendous difference in the lives of thousands of people – in our congregation, in our community and in our world. Your generosity make a real difference in so many ways. We welcome all of God’s children. We offer a place of radical hospitality in our neighborhood. We feed neighbors who are hungry. We save lives. We grow as disciples of Jesus Christ. We are making a real difference in the lives of real people. I know there are many requests for your time and resources and I am grateful that you’ve chosen to invest in the work of our congregation. –Rev. Clay Andrew
Your gifts of time and energy are greatly appreciated. Visit our Serve page to learn more about current opportunities to be in service to our congregation, community and world.
Our Community Trading Post is currently accepting donations of non-perishable food and hygiene items. (We are temporarily suspending clothing donations as we cannot process them safely at this time.) Items can be brought to the church office, the donation boxes in the narthex and fellowship hall, or left directly in the Mini Community Trading Post out front.
The Backpack Food program features an item of the month. This month’s item is condensed vegetable beef soup (10.5 oz cans). Donations can be left in the yellow bus box in the fellowship hall.
Financial contributions can be made in a variety of ways at this time. Cash and checks can be brought to the church office. Checks can be made out to HUMC and if you wish to specify a ministry, you can indicate it in the memo line. Checks may also be mailed to the church at 168 NE 8th Ave. Hillsboro, OR 97124.
One time and reoccurring gifts connected to a credit card or bank account can be made online here. You can specify a fund or give a gift in honor or memory of someone if you choose. Arrangements for reoccurring payments can also be made through the church office.
Text giving is also available. Simply indicate the amount $25 (for example) and send to 503-831-9917.
We are set up to accept gifts of stock. Laura in the office can assist you with the account information.
As we are not able to collect offering in worship, we encourage you to try giving in new ways if you haven’t before. Call the church office if we can help you.
